The Fedcap Group in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Financial Analyst to drive forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. You will prepare P&L reporting, support quarterly earnings analyses, and assist with annual budgeting and outlook processes.
A strong Excel skill set and experience with Oracle Hyperion are required. You will collaborate with directors and managers, translate program plans into detailed financial projections, and develop key indicators to improve management reporting efficiency.

You’ll be directly responsible for critical functions such as performing variance analyses and ensuring accuracy of data contained in management reports, as well as developing a good understanding of key drivers to provide pertinent financial analysis to leadership.

Responsibilities include detailed analysis at the company and line of business levels, preparation of P&L reports, assisting in the review of financial results, preparation of quarterly earnings analysis package, assisting with the annual budget, and quarterly outlook processes. You’ll support a combination of reporting and analysis functions and assist in the development of key indicators/ratios to better analyze financial results. In addition, you will identify, communicate, and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance reports and provide efficiencies in the management reporting process.
