Employment Status:
Full-time - 37.5 hours per week. This location is open Monday to Saturday with extended hours on Thursday and Friday. Interested candidates must be available to work varied shifts within branch operations.

Servus is growing! We are currently seeking a Full-time Financial Advisor at our Seton Branch.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your primary goal is to bring our noble purpose to life by developing long-term relationships with members, building trust, and delivering customized financial solutions that enhance their financial fitness.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Matching members with the right products and solutions to improve their financial fitness
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and referral goals
  • Participating in business development plans through marketing campaigns
  • Engaging members in conversations to identify their immediate needs
  • Maintaining knowledge of our current investment and retail banking services and products
  • Promoting referrals to Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and third-party providers
  • Understanding local market trends and economic conditions
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks
  • Providing an outstanding member experience following Servus' best practices
  • Contributing to a culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration
  • Maintaining a positive community image for Servus

Qualifications include at least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service, and a high school diploma.

Valuable additional education or certifications include:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance or related fields
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)
  • Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
  • Financial Planning I (FP1)
