Job Summary
The Financial Accountant is responsible for the maintenance, and validity of The Salvation Army’s general ledgers, and associated sub-ledgers. They will prepare and process complex reconciliations and prepare major journal entries (both one-time and recurring in support of these functions. The Financial Accountant will be the prime person responsible for a designated set of ministry unit and client financial statements and be the prime contact for clients in the understanding and resolution of financial statement issues. Where applicable, identify and recommend process improvement and document processes within their area of responsibility.

Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $52,610.65 to $65,763.31 with a maximum of $78,915.97.Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
