Job summary

Compu-Vision Consulting Inc. is seeking a part-time Storekeeper I for on-site work in Medicine Hat.

Starting compensation is $32.07 per hour, with responsibilities including receiving, inspecting, shelving, issuing and distributing stock using a computerized system. You will maintain records, perform cycle counts, and support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to keep essential services running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 1 year related experience in warehouse, stores, shipping/receiving, or inventory environment preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with acceptable driving record or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, shelf, issue, and distribute stock using a computerized inventory control system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through routine cycle counts and audits.
• Pick up, prepare, and deliver supplies to City departments as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and related tools.
• Maintain warehouse, yard, and office areas in a clean, safe, organized condition.
• Collaborate with suppliers, delivery personnel, and internal customers to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Support inventory control and purchasing processes following established procedures.
• Assist with records management and other operational support duties.
• Contribute to a safe work environment by following OH&S legislation and the City's EMS framework.

Join the City of Medicine Hat as a Storekeeper I Temporary (Up to 6 Months) | Part-Time | On-site Starting at $32.07/hour

Our Storekeeper I is an entry-level role that plays an important role in supporting City operations by ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are received, stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently. Working within City Stores, this position supports inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse operations while collaborating with departments across the organization to help keep essential services running smoothly. What you’ll own it

• Receive, inspect, shelf, issue, and distribute stock using a computerized inventory control system.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• One (1) year of related work experience, preferably in a warehouse, stores, shipping/receiving, or inventory environment.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• This position has been identified as Safety Sensitive and requires the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen, which includes testing for cannabis use.
