  • Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy in alignment with project budgets.
  • Produce accurate and balanced financial reports while identifying potential issues such as budget overruns, write‑offs, unusual spending patterns, tax considerations, or other financial risks and escalating them appropriately.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, client finance, project accounting, billing, or a related financial operations role; experience within a professional services, consulting, agency, or project‑based environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, job costing, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies, financial risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client priorities, meet deadlines, and respond with appropriate urgency in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to build relationships, collaborate across teams, influence decisions, and communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
