Job summary

Fairstone Bank is seeking an Administrator, Shared Services in Toronto to ensure accurate processing of financial transactions and meticulous account maintenance within our shared services portfolio. You will collaborate with internal teams across Contact Centre, Collections, Fraud, Legal, Funding, Renewals and Finance to maintain data integrity.

The role requires a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business/Finance and a minimum of two years in financial services operations, with credit card

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services operations.
• Credit card operations experience preferred.
• Call centre or customer-facing financial services experience is an asset.
• Strong financial acumen with attention to detail, including knowledge of credit card operations, risk, and compliance.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Process financial and non-financial transactions including adjustments, payments, reversals, and account updates.
• Perform account maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support daily operational workflows, including queue management and service request processing.
• Generate and review system reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to internal inquiries from departments such as Contact Centre, Collections, Fraud, and Finance.
