Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Finance Manager for a Toronto-based hybrid role, reporting to the CFO and overseeing month-end close, project profitability, and financial systems across multiple entities in a fast-moving, project-led business.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in accounting or finance, a CPA or equivalent, and a proven track record of ownership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in accounting or finance roles.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Demonstrated ownership and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Experience with multi-entity financials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own core finance operations across multiple entities, including reporting and month-end close.
• Drive project-level profitability analysis and forecasting.
• Identify and implement systems and process improvements across the finance function.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts with scenario analysis for decisions.
• Partner with operational leaders to translate financial detail into insights.
• Lead and support the external audit process.
• Manage and develop the Junior Accountant and build team capability.
