Strong track record of partnerships between finance and plant management .
Experienced at period close process, including journal entries, inventory reconciliations, plant’s cost statement.
Experienced at reviewing actual to standard cost and providing in-depth analysis on cost drivers of variances.
Experienced working with the plant management to establish effective and measurable budgets on an annual basis, as well as periodic reporting tracking performance.
Travel to multiple plant locations throughout the year .
Experience with SAP (nice to have).

Finance Manager, Eastern Canada
The Finance Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Supply Finance and manage the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting for multiple plants. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. It involves building relationships and coordinating across various functions to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with dynamic plant teams at various locations. The home office is in Mississauga, Ontario, with a hybrid working model.
Term:Permanent, Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Day
Work Mode: Hybrid (onsite 3-days a week)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Establish effective partnerships between finance and plant management to ensure accurate data processing and financial results, including plant cost analysis to support informed business decisions.
· Responsible for period close process, including journal entries, inventory reconciliations, plant’s cost statement.
· Support systems/process/tools reviewing actual to standard cost and providing in-depth analysis on cost drivers of variances.
·Work with plants to establish effective and measurable budgets on an annual basis, as well as periodic reporting tracking performance.
·Work with operations and admin team to validate information used for standard costing.
·Work with Plant managers, operations, and finance on production cost performance and reporting information to support timely business decisions.
· Travel to multiple locations throughout the year is a requirement.
·Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Experience with SAP is desired.
·Proven ability to effectively compile, analyze and interpret data.
·Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
·Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
·Strong analytical/technical, logic and mathematic skills with attention to detail.
