Job Opportunity: Finance Manager

Join the management team at the Child Development Centre, a family-centered organization providing early intervention services across Yukon. We value cultural and family diversity and are committed to equity and cultural safety.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $53.35 - $64.91 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• RRSP share plan
• 7 weeks paid vacation

Start Date: August 11, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead accounting, budgeting, payroll (Ceridian), and financial reporting.
2. Prepare and manage annual budgets and payroll; support financial reviews.
3. Process accounts receivable/payable and manage bank reconciliations.
4. Ensure compliance with CRA, Societies Act, GST regulations, and WCB requirements.
5. Advise the Board of Directors and attend meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or extensive experience in financial management.
• 5+ years of financial management experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, accounting, and payroll software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Yukon legislation and cultural competency practices.
