Job Posting: Finance Manager

United Way of Greater Moncton and SENB is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to provide strategic leadership in the areas of finance, technology, and human resources.

This key role is essential to ensuring the organization’s financial health, operational efficiency, and alignment of resources with its mission. The successful candidate will also serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO in achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Oversee an annual operating budget of over $4 million. Lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial statements, coordinate audits, track donations, and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Human Resources: Manage payroll, employee benefits, and HR compliance. Oversee recruitment, staff development, and employee records.
  • Operations Management: Supervise IT systems, office operations, and purchasing activities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in finance and operations management.
  • CPA designation (or in progress), or strong commitment to pursuing the CPA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAGE 50 Premium Accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of non-profit financial planning, fund accounting, and Canadian employment legislation.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.

Centraide de la région du grand Moncton et du Sud-est du Nouveau Brunswick est à la recherche d’un(e) gestionnaire financier(ère) dynamique pour offrir un leadership stratégique en matière de finances, de technologie et de ressources humaines.

Ce rôle clé est essentiel pour assurer la santé financière, l’efficacité opérationnelle et l’alignement des ressources avec la mission de l’organisation. Le ou la titulaire du poste jouera également un rôle de conseiller(ère) stratégique auprès du PDG dans l’atteinte des objectifs organisationnels.

Responsabilités principales:

  • Gestion financière : Superviser un budget de fonctionnement annuel de plus de 4 millions de dollars. Assurer la planification financière, la budgétisation, la production de rapports financiers, ainsi que la conformité réglementaire.
  • Rapports financiers : Préparer les états financiers trimestriels, coordonner les audits externes, assurer le suivi des dons et maintenir des contrôles financiers rigoureux.
  • Ressources humaines : Gérer la paie, les avantages sociaux, la conformité aux politiques RH. Superviser le recrutement, le développement professionnel et la gestion des dossiers du personnel.
  • Gestion des opérations : Superviser les systèmes informatiques, la gestion des bureaux, les processus d’approvisionnement et les services généraux.

Compétences et qualifications:

  • Expérience confirmée en finance et en gestion des opérations.
  • Titre CPA (ou en voie d’obtention), ou fort engagement à l’obtenir.
  • Excellente maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et de SAGE 50 Premium Accounting.
  • Solides compétences en communication orale et écrite.
  • Connaissance de la planification financière des OBNL, de la comptabilité par fonds et de la législation canadienne du travail.
  • Le bilinguisme (français/anglais) est un atout.
