With over 100 employees, the company specializes in complex mechanical and industrial projects and is expanding into new service lines. The business is undergoing a transformation from a traditional, owner-operated model to a more structured, scalable organization—bringing modern financial discipline to a well-established player in the sector. Their head office is located in Guelph.

Your New Role

As the Finance Manager, you’ll step into a newly created role with high visibility and impact. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll take ownership of full-cycle accounting for a major client, oversee payroll and job costing, and support strategic planning through financial insights. You’ll also play a key role in building scalable systems and controls, supporting M&A integration, and helping drive the company’s growth agenda.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• CPA designation (or in PEP stage, close to CFE)
• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting or broad industry roles
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and internal controls
• Experience in construction, industrial services, or job-costing environments is an asset
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a desire to build from the ground up
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
