Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Finance Coordinator role based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Finance Coordinator will support day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end and year-end close activities. The role will help prepare and maintain financial records, reconcile accounts and bank statements, and support the production of financial reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders. The Finance Coordinator will assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, track key financial metrics, and help ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The role will also collaborate with finance leaders and cross-functional teams to provide accurate data, respond to inquiries, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and financial accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with practical experience supporting day-to-day financial operations.
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including preparing schedules, reconciling data, and supporting the creation of management reports.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Experience with Budgeting, forecasting, and tracking variances against financial plans.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; progress toward a professional designation (e.g., CPA) is an asset.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software; familiarity with cloud-based tools and AI-enabled platforms is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical conduct, and accuracy in all financial work.
