Job summary
Henry Schein One is seeking an experienced CPA-designated finance leader to oversee the Canadian finance function, including reporting, controls, compliance, and transactional finance. You will lead a high-performing team, strengthen governance, and partner with business leaders to support growth.
The role is hybrid with one to two days in office, office located across from Guildford Mall in Surrey, BC, and involves driving forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning with US GAAP and SOX
Qualifications
- CPA with 5+ years post-designation and experience in SaaS/tech.
- Proven ability to lead accounting teams and drive transformation.
- Experience communicating with senior leadership and external auditors.
- Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX, IFRS, and local GAAP.
- Proficient in ERP systems such as Dynamics/NetSuite.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Canadian accounting and reporting function, including direct line management of accountants.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting; evolve reporting to business needs.
- Lead Canada finance, controls, reporting, and transactional finance.
- Manage SOX compliance, internal controls, and annual statutory audit.
- Partner with leaders to provide financial insights and forecast/budget.
- Drive finance transformation, automation, and process improvements.
