Job summary

CFMWS in Canada seeks a Finance Business Partner to provide financial services support across divisions, enabling informed decisions and real-time analysis. You will prepare reports, conduct variance analysis, and support resource funding and planning in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business and CPA is an asset; strong analytical and communication skills are essential. English or French are required, with bilingual considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline and several years of accounting/financial management experience.
• CPA designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial services support to divisional entities and enable informed decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports, in-year position reports, costing reports and business plan reports.
• Perform variance analysis on budget vs. actual and present results to management.
• Develop and recommend resource funding allocation and management solutions.
• Use financial software and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Contribute to producing financial statements, business plans or briefing notes.
