Description
Analyze production costs across all business lines—parts and labor—to optimize profitability, achieve the company’s overall objectives, and identify unnecessary or excessive expenses that could impact profit margins.
Conduct ongoing and in-depth margin analyses by product, identify the causes of variances, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on their implementation.
Participate in the creation and implementation of standard times, monitor variances, and recommend corrective measures.
Validate pricing during responses to customer requests for proposals (RFPs).
Enhance analysis tools to make them increasingly effective.
Assist Production and Procurement teams in updating performance indicators.
Proactively propose new monitoring methods or improvements to existing processes.
Provide analyses of all cost types beyond production costs, including transportation costs, chemical costs, and departmental overheads.
Contribute to monthly reporting and budgeting activities.
Participate in the creation and updating of cost models and methods for evaluating standard costs.
Monitor variances between actual and forecasted costs and present detailed analytical reports.
Ensure rigorous tracking of financial KPIs related to costs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost analysis, management accounting, or corporate finance.
CPA designation (strong asset).
Solid skills in financial analysis and cost modeling.
Proficiency in advanced Excel tools (macros, pivot tables, complex formulas).
Experience with ERP systems (Quantum, AP, Oracle, etc.) and other cost analysis systems.
Strong attention to detail, rigor, and highly developed analytical skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Saint-Laurent,QC.
