Job summary

North Central Co-op in Stony Plain, Alberta invites applications for the Finance and Administration Clerk to join our Administrative team. The successful candidate will support Member Services and the Finance Department with a commitment to exceptional customer service while adhering to sound accounting policies and internal control systems.

Reporting to the Administration and Member Services Manager, you will reconcile daily sales transactions, update Excel reports, review petroleum reports,

Qualifications

High School Diploma and one introductory post-secondary accounting course.
1–3 years of related experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
JD Edwards experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Reconcile/audit daily sales transactions and reports with accurate coding and internal controls.
Maintain and update various Excel reports.
Review daily petroleum reports for policy compliance.
Provide outstanding internal and external customer service.
Assist with special projects related to process improvements and efficiency gains.
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and other finance tasks.
