Job summary

ICON Creative Studio in Vancouver is seeking a production artist with a strong craft in both 2-D and 3-D illustration and animation. The role focuses on creating compelling visuals, consulting with clients to determine content, and delivering timely, polished artwork for communications needs.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in production art, works on-site, and is proficient with Autodesk 3ds Max, Houdini, NUKE and Autodesk Maya to develop and finalize sketches and assets for

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in production art.
On-site position; remote work not available.
Experience with client consultations to determine illustration needs.

Responsibilities

Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations.
Adapt existing illustrations.
Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs.
Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials.
Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives.
Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements.
Process files and paperwork.
