Job summary

Canadian Tire Stores is seeking a part-time Fill Crew Associate to move products from the warehouse to the sales floor efficiently. You will handle a range of merchandise from light to heavy and support inventory readiness.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and providing friendly customer assistance while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Training is provided, and the team emphasizes inclusivity and community involvement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Willing to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Able to stand/walk 8 hours and lift/carry items, use ladder, twist and reach.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and report low stock levels.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• Perform retail tasks efficiently (stocking, labeling, facing, cleaning).
• Place overstock in correct locations and report damaged goods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, and identify and report low stock levels.
• Complete necessary paperwork on a daily basis.
• Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing, clean area etc.).
• Ensure that product and overstock is placed in the appropriate locations.
• Report stolen and damaged goods to Management.
• Assist in pricing and verifying price labels as needed.
• Assist in organizing warehouse as needed.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard.
• Greet, assist and thank customers in a friendly manner.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills

• No experience is required!!! - We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Result-oriented
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
