With the active projects in our development pipeline, the portfolio is forecasted to grow to 6.7 million square feet by the end of 2031.

Our operations are vertically integrated, encompassing land acquisition, development, construction, finance, design, marketing, sales, leasing, and property management. We have a long history of looking forward and we are dedicated to conducting business in line with our values of adaptability, accountability, relationships, and observing The Golden Rule without fail.

PROFILE SUMMARY

Wesgroup is poised for substantial growth over the next several years and in preparation for this exciting and challenging phase, we are actively searching a highly engaged, driven, and detail-oriented Field Virtual Design & Construction Services Technologist to join our Construction team. This is a highly field-oriented role that involves regular travel to active construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland, providing hands‑on support to project teams and construction operations.

In this site-focused role, you will support active construction projects through the use of digital construction technologies, including robotic layout systems, LiDAR scanning, and other reality capture equipment. Working closely with our VDC team, project teams, site staff, consultants, and trade partners, you will collect field data, support technology-enabled layout activities, and help project teams improve accuracy, efficiency, and digital construction practices.

The ideal candidate is trustworthy, adaptable, comfortable working independently, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in construction technology, surveying, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field who enjoys being hands‑on, working across multiple project sites, and contributing to innovation in the construction environment.
