You will perform in-field maintenance and inspections, manage parts, and use electronics to ensure safety and quality. Training and support are provided, with opportunities to work on 50+ models.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Relevant license assets (421A, 310T, 310S) is an asset.
• Experience ordering parts based on machine arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment in the field.
• Complete work orders electronically and code for invoicing.
• Look up parts, manuals, schematics, etc. electronically.
• Order necessary parts for proactive maintenance.
• Conduct safety checks on equipment and perform recalls/bulletins.
• Work with team on larger repair scopes when needed.
• Communicate delays and challenges to the field service team.
• Maintain neat, organized service records and in-process work.
• Keep workspace clean and tidy.

Reporting to the Field Service Foreman, as a Preventative Maintenance Technician you will primarily be responsible for performing maintenance and inspections of customer and rental equipment. Manulift provides an exciting challenge by working on tasks from oil changes to complex electrical or hydraulic systems.

You will benefit from continuous training, coaching, and will be able to use your creativity to work on innovative projects and on over 50+ different equipment models!

Main Responsibilities:

• Complete preventive maintenance, annual inspections minor repairs and sales inspections on our equipment in the field while maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality.
• Complete work orders electronically and ensure work is coded correctly for invoicing.
• Electronically look up parts, manuals, schematics, etc..
• Order the necessary parts to perform maintenances proactively.
• Conduct safety checks on equipment.
• Perform recalls and service bulletins.
• Occasionally work as part of a team to complete larger scoped repairs.
• Communicate with field service team regarding delays in repairs and challenges.
• Keep neat and organized records of services and work in process.
• Keep workspace neat, organized, clean and tidy.

Experience and desired skills:

• A relevant license is considered an asset (421A, 310T, 310S).
