Position Overview

We are seeking a Field Technician to join our team in Brantford, ON. The role involves installation, repair, and maintenance of insulated panels, ACM siding, and related building materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install IMPs, ACM siding, vapor barriers, flashing, and sealant.
2. Complete work orders and maintain accurate documentation.
3. Maintain and stock work truck with necessary parts.
4. Report stock levels and manage reordering.
5. Ensure site cleanliness and safe disposal of materials.
6. Enhance product knowledge to improve customer service.

Qualifications

1. Experience with aerial work platforms and forklifts.
2. Knowledge of insulated panel systems and ACM siding.
3. Experience with metal trim installation and related materials.
4. Ability to use manual and powered tools.
5. Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
6. Strong mechanical skills and customer focus.
7. Ability to work independently and adhere to safety standards, including working at heights and WHMIS certification.

Additional Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $22.00 - $34.00/hour, based on experience
• Benefits: Company events, dental and health care, life insurance, on-site parking, paid time off, vision care, tool and boot allowances
• Schedule: 8-12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with on-call and possible weekend hours
• Education: Secondary school diploma preferred
• Language: English required
• Licenses: Ontario Driver’s License required
