Field Technical Support Specialist – Eastern Canada

We’re seeking a Field Technical Support Specialist to join our Eastern Canada service team. In this role, you’ll ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by supporting KARL STORZ medical devices throughout their lifecycle—from installation and preventive maintenance to technical troubleshooting and repair. You’ll be the on‑site expert for our OR1® integrated operating rooms and endoscopic equipment, working closely with sales teams to promote service excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and repairs of KARL STORZ medical devices and OR1® integrated systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and StayReady visits to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Support customers via Salesforce service tickets and SAP documentation systems.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Regional Sales Managers to promote service programs and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical expertise at customer sites, demos, and events.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and expense records.
• Participate in ongoing training at KARL STORZ facilities in North America and Europe.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Medical Physics.
• 3–5 years of technical service experience, ideally in the medical device industry.
• Strong technical aptitude in electronics, mechanics, and networking.
• Proficiency in English and French (required).
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and passport with willingness to travel up to 90% of the time across Eastern Canada (and occasionally abroad).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours when needed.
