Job summary

Different Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead a janitorial team, oversee client sites, and ensure high-quality service delivery across the Vancouver area.

You will train staff, schedule assignments, manage supplies, and enforce safety protocols while traveling between buildings in Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam and surrounding areas. This full-time role offers a monthly gas allowance, health benefits, weekend earning opportunities, and potential profit sharing after one

Qualifications

• Requires supervising janitorial staff and ensuring safety compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel between multiple buildings in Vancouver area.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Experience in facilities management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff.
• Inspect work quality via regular site visits.
• Train new employees on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Schedule and coordinate cleaning assignments to meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address service-related issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
• Provide coverage for relief shifts as needed, stepping in to perform duties when staff are absent.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working at various locations and buildings as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial or facilities management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem‑solve effectively.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (candidate must have a vehicle).
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel between multiple buildings throughout Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, North Vancouver, White Rock, and surrounding areas.

Please note that this position requires travelling to different buildings and work locations as operational needs arise.

Salary Details:

The salary for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, the candidate will receive a monthly gas allowance provided in accordance with CRA guidelines. There is also potential to earn additional income by working weekends on top of the regular schedule.

• Day shift
• Wednesday‑Sunday
• 8am-4pm
