Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an ESP Field Service Specialist to install and service electrical submersible pumps at our Leduc, AB facility and on client sites. You will help maximize well productivity and ESP life while ensuring safe operations.

Role requires strong mechanical/electrical background, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel for domestic assignments. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior mechanical or electrical background is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of ESP technical experience is preferred.
• General knowledge of machines, tools, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Install/pull Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and related equipment.
• Assist and manage ESP equipment to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• Operate equipment per company procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections for safety compliance.
• Report operational deficiencies to supervisor and maintenance staff.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and complete paperwork.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues as needed.
• Travel to locations and drive safely between sites.
• Follow Baker Hughes Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and legal requirements.

As an ESP Field Service Specialist, you are to perform installation of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) Based out of our Leduc, AB facility. You are to assists in maximizing well productivity and ESP run life. As an ESP Field Service Specialist , you will be responsible for:

• Performing installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment.
• Assisting and managing of ESP equipment in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• Operating equipment in accordance with company procedures
• Maintaining assigned equipment, performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements
• Reporting all operational deficiencies to Supervisor and maintenance personnel
• Performing equipment inspection and maintenance as requested and completes paperwork
• Assisting in performing basic troubleshooting of equipment
• Practicing safe driving procedures when travelling to and from locations
• Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies, Legal Compliance requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a previous mechanical or electrical background
• Provide acceptable drivers abstract
• Have 5 years minimum on ESP technical related background, preferred
• Possess general knowledge of machines, tools, and banding materials, including their uses, repair, and maintenance

Additional Information

The position involves frequent travel on domestic assignments and time away from home, often at short notice as well as work outdoors in all weather conditions. 16 on days / 5 off days
