Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an ESP Field Service Specialist to install and service Electrical Submersible Pumps at our Leduc, AB facility. You will maximize well productivity and ESP run life, working on ESP equipment and supporting field operations alongside a safety-conscious team.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical background, a valid driver's license, and at least 5 years of ESP-related experience. Occasional travel and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mechanical or electrical background.
• Provide acceptable drivers abstract.
• 5 years minimum on ESP technical related background, preferred.
• General knowledge of machines, tools, and banding materials, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performing installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment.
• Assisting and managing ESP equipment in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• Operating equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintaining assigned equipment, performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
• Reporting all operational deficiencies to Supervisor and maintenance personnel.
• Performing equipment inspection and maintenance as requested and completes paperwork.
• Assisting in performing basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Practicing safe driving procedures when travelling to and from locations.
• Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies, Legal Compliance requirements.

As an ESP Field Service Specialist, you are to perform installation of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) Based out of our Leduc, AB facility. Additional Information

• The position involves frequent travel on domestic assignments and time away from home, often at short notice as well as work outdoors in all weather conditions. 16 on days / 5 off days
