P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. (PMEL) is a leading Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering consulting firm based in Saskatoon. We are looking for a Field Soils Technician to join our dynamic team and support both field and laboratory testing operations.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct field density testing, concrete sampling, and strength testing.
• Perform laboratory analysis of soils, including proctors, sieves, Atterberg limits, hydrometers, CBRs, moisture content, and unit weights.
• Follow safe work practices and CCIL specifications where applicable.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality test results to support engineering decisions.

What You Bring

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or one or more years of experience with Canadian soils, preferred but not required.
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
