Job summary

KOTT Group in Ottawa, ON is seeking a full-time Service Technician to assess and repair siding issues at new home construction sites, occupied homes, and managed properties. You'll be dispatched to multiple service calls per day, using hands-on skills and strong customer service to keep our largest customers happy.

You will be equipped with company clothing, tools, PPE, and a service vehicle. The role requires 5 years siding experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, Working at Heights, a valid G

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years' siding experience with multiple siding types.
• Valid G class license with a clean driving record.
• Working at Heights certification required.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience operating a manlift and reading building plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose siding, exterior cladding and trim deficiencies, and assess repair work required.
• Document and communicate the scope of work.
• Repair/replace all types of siding; including vinyl, aluminum, Hardie board and metal siding.
• Repair and/or replace soffit and fascia as required.
• Submit service records for warranty claims and invoices.
