Job summary

Insight Global in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia seeks a Technician to travel to customer locations, troubleshoot, service and repair equipment in the field. The ideal candidate has at least three years of hands-on mechanical experience (automotive, heavy-duty, diesel engines, or mobile equipment) and is ready to grow a long-term technical career.

Qualifications

• At least three years of hands-on mechanical experience.
• Background in automotive mechanics, heavy-duty equipment, or diesel engines.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to meet required criminal background screening.
• Willing to learn and pursue a long-term career.
• Comfortable traveling to service customer equipment.
• Able to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to service customer equipment as a traveling/mobile technician.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/technical issues in the field.
• Join a team of technicians and support equipment service.
• Handle on-call rotation and occasional after-hours service calls.
• Work approximately 45 hours per week with overtime opportunities.
• Use company-provided vehicle, phone, laptop, tools.
• Participate in company-paid technical training.
