Job summary

Synergy Controls Corporation in Ontario (Sudbury area) is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and repair of process instrumentation and control equipment at customer sites and in our workshop.

The role requires experience with instruments such as flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical devices, plus reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commissioning, repairing, and calibrating industrial instruments.
• Strong knowledge of process instrumentation such as flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical instruments.
• Experience in mining, water, process, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Commission and configure process instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform calibration, testing, and verification of instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on instrumentation and associated equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting at customer facilities.
• Prepare service reports and calibration certificates.
• Work closely with customers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and industry standards.
