Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Field Service Professional to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial equipment across customer sites within a reasonable radius. The role emphasizes safe operation, strong communication, and customer-focused service.

You will diagnose and fix equipment mechanically and electrically, perform preventive maintenance, and document all work using our tech platforms. A valid license and travel to local sites are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally permitted to work in Canada.
• Must have a valid Drivers' License for the province you work in.
• At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical schematics.
• Must reside within 25 to 35 kilometers of the target city.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Be a self-starter and able to work independently to drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed using the company platform, including labor and parts.
• Maintain and organize parts inventory and stock replenishment.
• Communicate with business partners and leaders about customer needs and service requirements.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and drive vehicle inspections.
