Summary

Applies technical knowledge and expertise to provide KUKA Canada Ltd customers with industry-leading robotic troubleshooting and repair services. Continuously seeks sales opportunities to grow revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.

NOTE: this position will be part of a 24/7 weekly rotation with the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Always manage customer relationships by going the extra mile and representing KUKA with pride and professionalism.
  • The role requires the ability to handle a flexible work and travel schedule.
  • The role requires the ability to travel to customer sites on short notice and frequently requires the ability to work long hours to meet customer needs.
  • Assist KUKA Robotics customers and internal personnel for the troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, and programming problems related to KUKA Robotics equipment.
  • Establish a strong technical relationship and trust with the customer.
  • Works with the Customer Service Manager and/or related supervisor(s) to identify individual training needs to maintain and continuously improve skills and knowledge of KUKA Robotics products and applications. Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and/or related supervisor(s) to pinpoint specific training requirements that will enhance and sustain proficiency and understanding of KUKA Robotics products and applications.
  • Possessing a strong work ethic, determination, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Lead small teams to perform in-house and on-site projects (i.e. Preventive Maintenance, Retrofits of equipment, program launches etc.).

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical prints and other related technical documentation.
  • Hands on experience in repair, servicing, or maintenance of electromechanical systems.
  • Intermediate PC skills/knowledge (Salesforce, MS Office environment, Internet, email, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel (75% - 90%) for service and training assignments.
  • Travel to headquarters in Germany may be required for varying duration for training purposes.
Education
  • Associate degree or trade certificate from an accredited institute.
  • 1-3 years related automation/robotics experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
