Job summary

Foremost Industries in Calgary is seeking a Field Service Technician (HET) to join our team. This role is based at our Calgary facility and requires travel to customer sites worldwide as needed to service Foremost equipment.

You will commission, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, train operators, and complete service reports. A valid HET certification, strong electrical/hydraulic skills, and a driver’s license are required. Travel to Canada and international locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HET certification is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Experience reading electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver License and Canadian Passport required.
• Must have a complete line of tools for mechanical and electronic repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, warranty work and corrective repairs.
• Troubleshoot control networks, wiring harnesses, sensors and control systems.

• Complete service reports and provide technical recommendations.
• Travel throughout Canada and internationally to support customers.

Description

Foremost have an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician (HET)reporting into our Field Service Technician (HET) Supervisor . The successful candidate will be based out of our facility in Calgary, Alberta, and will be required to travel on an as-needed basis to various locations around the world to service Foremost equipment

Responsibilities:

• Commission and start up new equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, low voltage electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, warranty work and corrective repairs
• Troubleshoot electronic control networks, wiring harnesses, sensors and control systems
• Train operators and maintenance personnel.
• Apply your technical expertise in our manufacturing facility, supporting equipment assembly, testing, commissioning, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Complete service reports and provide technical recommendations
• Travel throughout Canada and internationally to support customers

Qualifications :

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification
• Strong troubleshooting and advanced electrical diagnostic skills
• Experience reading electrical, hydraulic and technical schematics
• Excellente communication and customer service skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver License and Valid Canadian Passport
• Must have a complete line of tools necessary for all phases of mechanical and electronic assembly or repair.
