Job summary
Motor Coach Industries is seeking a Field Service Technician to operate on-site in the Greater Toronto Area, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing retrofits and campaigns, and managing reporting and logistics to meet customer expectations.
Must have 310T certification with 5+ years in transit/coach work, PLC troubleshooting, and proficiency with Cummins Insite, Allison DOC, and Wabco Toolbox; travel to the United States for training is required.
Qualifications
- 310T certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years as a 310T Technician.
- Experience with PLC systems and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with industry diagnostic software.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical and mechanical support at customer locations.
- Assemble, organize, and maintain all required company reports.
- Communicate professionally with customers, management and co-workers.
- Investigate and report product issues, including supplier components.
- Assist with controlled testing of components and installations.
- Receive training to stay current with vehicle systems and OEM support.
- Suggest improvements to technical bulletins and maintenance materials.
- Resolve customer problems to support interests of customer and company.
- Perform special assignments as required.
