Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking a Field Service Technician in Calgary to perform on-site tire installation, removal, and repairs for passenger, light truck, fleet and OTR vehicles. The role emphasizes safety, high-quality service, and meeting client needs with a dynamic team in a full-time, permanent position at 5375 - 68th AVENUE SE, CALGARY, AB.

Responsibilities include tire inspections, customer communication, and delivering fleet and roadside tire services with a commitment to safety and operational

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial and industrial tire installation, repair, and maintenance is considered an asset but not required.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement for on-site service and roadside assistance tasks
• Excelling in a physically demanding environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height
• Demonstrating a safety-first mindset by adhering to all safety protocols, wearing required PPE, and promoting a secure workplace culture
• Possessing strong technical skills and a proactive approach to solving tire and equipment challenges

• Perform on-site inspections and maintenance, including checking inflation, tread wear, and overall condition to ensure tire safety, efficiency, and performance
• Communicate services directly with customers to provide insights and recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle performance
• Deliver professional fleet, roadside, and off-site tire services on commercial and industrial vehicles, minimizing downtime with fast and efficient support
• Adhere to Kal Tire’s safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence
