Job summary

Werfen seeks an Associate Field Service Specialist to install, repair, and maintain Werfen instrumentation across North America. You will perform on-site visits, diagnose instrument issues, and deliver service with high professionalism to retain customers and hit service revenue targets.

Ideal candidates have field service experience with complex medical devices or diagnostic instruments, and the ability to travel extensively (up to 90%).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering or related training.
• Minimum 1 year of technical/support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS and PC literacy.
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, and product enhancements.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and isolates faults to determine corrective action.
• Escalates unresolved technical issues.
• Maintains professional relationships and buyer satisfaction.
• Promotes service contracts and renewal follow-ups.
• Documents service records accurately in reports.
• Oversees service inventory and travel/time reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
