Qualifications

• Water treatment or industrial/mechanical experience required.
• Bilingual in French and English due to needing to travel to the US for training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert service and support for cooling tower cleaning and water disinfection.
• Execute cooling tower disinfection procedures per maintenance programs.
• Provide technical support and escalate complex challenges as needed.
• Build strong relationships with customers and promote best practices.
• Ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts.
• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute customer system plans.
• Assist customers by identifying and resolving pain points and escalating as required.

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Representative (12 month Contract) where your hands‑on skills and customer‑first mindset will help shape a more sustainable future. You’ll work independently in the field, building trusted relationships with customers and delivering solutions that protect vital resources and improve operational performance.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Deliver expert service and support for cooling tower cleaning and water disinfection
• Execute cooling tower disinfection procedures as per pre‑established maintenance programs
• Provide technical support and elevate complex challenges as needed
• Build strong relationships with customers and promote best practices
• Ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures
• Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts
• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts

Position Details

• This position will be based in Saguenay, QC
• The territory for this position covers a 300km radius
• Targeted accounts are within the primary metals, chemical manufacturing and power generation industries
• Up to 4 – 5 nights/month overnight travel
• This is a 12‑month contract

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in water treatment or an industrial/mechanical environment
• Strong French language skills with professional proficiency in English due to the following reasons: The role is required to travel to the US to attend technical training at our corporate headquarters
• Position requires a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
• Able to travel to the US for training/meetings
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position

• Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems

Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range

Base salary range is $52,800 – $83,600. This position has a base salary and is eligible for overtime.

Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
