Job summary

Integrated Power Services in Canada is seeking an Estimator to price field service work scopes, review RFP/RFQ, and collaborate with Sales, Field Service Managers, Technicians and Engineering to build accurate quotes. You will prepare quotes for Electro-Mechanical and Power Management projects, track revisions, and ensure quotes meet requirements while supporting customers with timely, transparent pricing.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience creating quotes and estimates for customers.
• Preference for those with field service experience.
• Preference for electrical/electro-mechanical education/experience.
• Must be organized, detail oriented and possess business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP and RFQ information and compile quotes and estimates based on requirements.
• Work with Sales, Field Service Managers, Technicians and Engineering to ensure all work scope has been accounted for in the quote.
• Prepare quotes for both Electro-Mechanical jobs (Motor, Generators), and Power Management scopes (Breakers, Transformers, VFDs, etc)
• Submit quotes to customers through emails and portals.
• Track quotes and quote revisions for reference and pipeline tracking.
• Follow up on submitted quotes and answer any questions/clarifications requested.

Responsibilities & Expectations

The Estimator is responsible for reviewing field service work scopes and providing pricing and delivery quotes/estimates to customers, while working with internal stakeholders to ensure that all activities have been captured.

• Review Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) information and compile quotes and estimates based on requirements.
• Work with Sales, Field Service Managers, Technicians and Engineering to ensure all work scope has been accounted for in the quote.
• Prepare quotes for both Electro-Mechanical jobs (Motor, Generators), and Power Management scopes (Breakers, Transformers, VFDs, etc)
• Submit quotes to customers through emails and portals.
