Job summary

Palfinger UK is seeking a specialist Dealer Service Engineer to maintain and repair our lorry cranes across the local area. You will receive structured training, ongoing technical development, and strong support from our respected aftersales team to become a product specialist.

Hours

40 hours per week Monday – Friday Additional overtime is available at TX1.5

Key Duties Will Include

Our Service Engineers work across the local area delivering on-site support to our own brand of lorry loader cranes, including:

• Regular crane servicing.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software issues on customer sites.
• Performing LOLER inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Providing technical support and training to customers.

The Ideal Applicant

• Applicants must have demonstrable work experience as a Service Engineer / Plant Fitter maintaining and repairing similar hydraulic equipment such as construction plant, forklifts, agricultural machinery, access equipment or taillifts. This is essential.
• A recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or associated qualification.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
