Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers in Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba. Responsibilities include commissioning, installing and testing medical devices, performing maintenance, and driving customer satisfaction across the territory.

This role requires strong technical skills in electronics and mechanics, the ability to travel overnight up to 50% and to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years hands-on experience with advanced medical devices and medical lasers.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for past three years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, commissioning, installing and testing of products/equipment.
• Establish and maintain high level of customer satisfaction and respond to customer concerns.
• Manage daily schedule and communicate with customers, dispatchers and cross-functional teams.
• Assist sales and clinical teams and other on-site service reps as needed.
• Manage inventory and return unused/defective parts promptly.

As a **Field Service Engineer** supporting customers in the **Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba** territory**,** you will be trusted to provide technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment.
