POSITION: FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

We are currently recruiting for experienced diesel service engineers to carry out maintenance / overhauls on marine & power generation diesel engines and associated equipment. Position will be based in Lincoln, UK with the majority of work being carried out on customer sites throughout the UK and abroad.

This role could suit candidates with mechanical experience working within the Marine, Power Generation, Plant & HGV sectors including: Marine Engineers, Field Service Engineers, Plant Fitters, HGV Mechanics.

Duties Will Include

• Carrying out engine component overhauls at our Lincoln workshop
• Attending customer sites to undertake complete engine overhauls.
• Fault finding & engine commissioning
• Liaising with customer representatives throughout the overhaul period
• Completing technical reports to include all relevant calibrations
• Being confident to work both individually or as part of a service team.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and within specified budget

Skills & Experience

• Time served or mechanical background
• Good mechanical knowledge & experience of repairing / overhauling medium speed diesel engines will be preferable alternatively experience with large plant or HGV equipment would be considered
• Must be willing to travel throughout the UK & Overseas for extended periods.

Clean Driving License Is Preferred But Not Essential

Good communication & people management skills are essential
