Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a dedicated Field Service Coordinator to manage incoming service requests, schedule technicians, and ensure pricing and work orders meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes safety training, VOC feedback to improve service delivery, and proactive communication with customers, suppliers, and the Sales team. A technical background and strong MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Technical background with electrical and/or mechanical products preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with current and potential customers.
  • Critical attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Flexible with hours, overtime, and some weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Receive field service requests and track details (travel, pricing, materials, workforce).
  • Maintain customer, industry and IPS training requirements for all team members.
  • Schedule field service projects by coordinating technicians’ calendars and communicating with involved parties.
  • Conduct VOC reviews to improve customer experience and drive IPS value.
  • Create quotes for Field Service Manager review.
  • Enroll field service technicians in safety training for compliance.
  • Ensure pricing and work orders are correct before sending to Sales for review.
  • Ask technical questions about field service requests while communicating professionally with customers.
  • Procure/purchase parts for field service jobs.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections and audits are completed.
  • Reinforce safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Ensure field service reports are delivered to customers timely.
  • Maintain relevant logs and documentation.

Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • Receive incoming field service request calls, tracking details such as travel, pricing, materials needed, and required workforce.

  • Ensure. pricing and work order is correct before sending to Sales department for review.
  • Ask technical questions regarding the nature of the field service request while always being professional and polite when communicating with customers.
  • Procure/Purchase parts for Field service jobs.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections and audits are completed
  • Re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Ensure the field service reports are completed and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relevant logs and documentation.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Technical background with electrical and/or mechanical products preferred.
  • 3 or more years of customer service experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with current and potential customers.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to understand, perform and retain various job-related training.
  • Flexible with hours, overtime, and some weekend work.
