Job Description

Title: Field Service and Depot Technician

Reporting to: Technical Support Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and performance-driven Field Service and Depot Technician to join our growing team! Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the Field Service and Depot Technician will be based in the Toronto office and will be responsible for maintaining and repairing medical devices in the depot, as well as testing systems before sending them to the final customer. Successful candidates will also have the ability to travel to install systems at customer sites.

What you will do:
  • Maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair medical aesthetic devices in the depot.
  • Test systems before dispatching to customers.
  • Perform on-site product installations, upgrades, and ongoing service support and maintenance.
  • Use proven troubleshooting processes to diagnose and resolve technical issues with electro-mechanical aesthetic and robotic systems.
  • Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
  • Review technical literature to stay updated on current aesthetic and surgical practices.
  • Travel up to 70% to meet customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.
  • Location: 235 Yorkland Blvd, Suite 900, Toronto, ON, M2J 4Y8, Canada.
What you will need:
  • Associate degree with relevant work experience or a bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years’ experience in field service, installation, and troubleshooting of complex electronic equipment, preferably in the medical device or capital equipment industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends during peak times.
  • Basic software skills and computer literacy.
  • Experience servicing high-value capital equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with robotic or automated instrumentation, or aesthetic medical devices, is an asset.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory and occasionally within North America.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Compensation:
  • Base salary: $65,000
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) match, starting from Day 1.
