Job summary

Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (VanPile) is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to lead on-site safety across marine and heavy civil projects.

You will coach crews, conduct regular site inspections, and drive a proactive safety culture while ensuring COR and WorkSafeBC compliance and effective incident investigations. This role blends leadership with hands-on field presence on active worksites.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on field safety experience in construction or marine settings.
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and COR practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety programs, inspections, and coaching for crews.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC, COR, and project safety requirements.
