Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a Territory Manager - Rentals for the Stoney Creek location. This role focuses on developing new customer relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts, with emphasis on consultative selling of equipment rental solutions that meet jobsite needs.

The successful candidate will pursue new opportunities, serve as a trusted advisor to customers, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure satisfaction and drive sales in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in equipment rental, construction, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction equipment and jobsite operations.
• Proven ability to prospect, close, and grow accounts.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Customer-first attitude with a consultative sales approach.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and to travel internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned territory and customer portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers across Brandt Group of Companies.
• Proactively prospect and develop new business through calls, site visits, and networking.
• Create daily/weekly customer visit plans and conduct regular in-person jobsite meetings.
• Prepare sales action plans to expand wallet share within existing accounts.
• Recommend equipment solutions based on customer requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Generate quotes, manage equipment availability, and coordinate rentals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating with service, billing, and logistics.
• Maintain records of activity, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM.
• Participate in industry associations, trade shows, and local events.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and activity metrics.
