Job summary

TDW is seeking a Field Quality Control Technician to oversee PETROSLEEVE installations across Canada. You will lead field crews, ensure safety, quality, and compliance, and interact with client representatives on-site.

The ideal candidate has an Engineering Technology Diploma and may have NAIT/SAIT background in Mechanical, Materials, or Petroleum Engineering, with strong technical and communication skills. Willingness to travel and work long hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent.
• Field experience in pipeline integrity or oil and gas welding (CWB Level 1) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to a safe work environment.
• Overseeing and inspecting PETROSLEEVE pipeline repair installations.
• Provide on site leadership and direction to repair crews.
• Communicating professionally with clients and inspectors.
• Understand pipeline anomalies and failures and their relation to repairs.
• Monitor and evaluate parameters to ensure procedures meet specifications.
• Interpret accurate and timely field reports based on data collected.
• Support other duties as required in a dynamic field environment.
