Ketek Group Inc is seeking a Pumping Technician to support field and shop operations, including pumping equipment, generators, and associated gear. The role involves hands-on maintenance, installations, and safety compliance in both field and shop environments.

The position requires a valid driver’s licence, a high school diploma, and the ability to work independently or in a team, often under demanding deadlines and varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 5 driver's licence and clean abstract.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience with basic handtools is required.
• Ability to deal with public in a positive, courteous manner.
• Ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines.
• Experience towing a trailer.
• Experience on oilfield or oilsands sites.
• Experience operating wheel loader and/or skid steer.
• Experience in dewatering, well-testing, or water transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobilization, monitoring, troubleshooting and demobilization of well pumps and diesel pumps.
• Maintain, repair, install, and service generators, light towers, and heating equipment.
• Operate field trucks, loaders and skidsteers safely and efficiently.
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete tasks on time and within budget.
• Assist with routine maintenance and servicing of field equipment.

Skills

Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
