Job summary

Xylem Pointe-Claire is seeking a Pump Mechanic to diagnose, dismantle, repair and service Flygt equipment, with occasional field work and on-call emergencies on a rotational schedule. This is a unionized, full-time role based in Pointe-Claire, QC.

Ideal candidates have a technical diploma in mechanical/electromechanical/electrical technology and 1–2 years of industrial equipment repair experience, plus strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, dismantle, repair, and test pumps and associated equipment.
• Assist with field work and provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Ensure safe, organized work environment and comply with customer site protocols.
