Job summary

WorleyCord Energy Services Ltd. is hiring Apprentice Pipefitters for our Air Products Field Project in Edmonton, AB. You will measure, cut, and assemble piping systems according to blueprints, and perform related tasks on site under supervision.

Starting ASAP, shifts include Days and Nights, 10-hour days on Mon-Thu and 8 on Friday, with overtime after 8 hours. WorleyCord provides safety training (CSTS, WHMIS2015, ESC EWP, Fall Protection) and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Apprenticeship Pipefitting ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
• Experience working at heights.
• Willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, WHMIS2015, ESC EWP, ESC Fall Protection.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending pipes, valves and fittings.
• Assemble and install piping sections per blueprints and specs.
• Physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings and securing pipe in hard-to-reach areas.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
