Job summary

Comcor Environmental Limited is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for landfill gas operations in the Mississauga area. This hands-on, field-based role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment at our landfill gas-to-energy facilities and flaring sites.

The successful candidate will perform preventative and corrective maintenance in an outdoor industrial environment, travel within Southern Ontario, and work onsite with a maintenance team under

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining, repairing or troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Experience with pumps, motors, compressors, engines, piping or valves.
• Experience in landfill gas, renewable energy or environmental operations is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose problems and complete repairs to restore operation.
• Inspect, maintain, repair and replace mechanical components as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment to complete maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for compliance and reporting purposes.
