Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Field Technician to safely repair and maintain a variety of rental equipment at customer sites. Travel to jobs, document work orders, and assist with parts delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Requirements: high school diploma, 3–5 years' hands-on repair experience, own tools, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

• Other duties assigned as needed.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be eligible for a signing bonus of up to $3000.
